what causes a burning sharp pain in the left side of your ribs under your breast?

Hurts to breath, move when I cough or take a deep breathe the pain is intense. It has now lasted a little over than a month.

Hi Sounds just like trapped wind, get yourself some very strong peppermints or some peppermint cordial, take this on the strong side, this should shift it, but hold on to your hat when it gets out.

Your find its best, when you take what ever, go for a long walk.
