Q.

What are cirrhotic nodules on my liver?

I had surgery to remove and drain a cyst in my liver.  The surgeon said I had lots of cirrhotic nodules on my liver, which made my liver look like a beef roast tied up with string.  He said I have a very sick liver.  I do not drink alcohol, as I am diabetic.  What are the nodules and what can be done to remove them?
