Good question, and good for you for asking!

Your menstrual flow does not stop when you go in water. To test this theory, you can try sitting in a bathtub filled with water. You'll notice you keep flowing.

If you don't use tampons, you should avoid going in the water during your trip to the water park. If you do use tampons, then you can enjoy the water like everyone else, since the tampon will keep the menstrual flow contained within your vagina. Don't forget to change your tampon regularly.

You're right there's a common myth that a woman's period will stop if she goes into water, but it's not true. You're wise to get the facts!

Take care!
